About Neuronyx AI

Writing began here. So should this.

We’re an Iraqi team building AI that understands how Iraq talks — and answers in kind.

Three wedges, one N. Look at the gaps.

From clay to code

The first writing was pressed into clay.

Five thousand years ago, between the Tigris and the Euphrates, someone pressed the end of a reed into wet clay. A wedge. Then another. Those small marks became cuneiform — the first writing — and with it, the first way to make words last longer than a voice.

Our symbol starts there. It’s an N made of three separate wedges, the way a scribe in Uruk might have pressed it. Look at the spaces between them and you’ll find two more letters, quietly: AI.

Why we do this

Today the new readers aren’t people. They’re machines — and most of them were taught on English and formal Arabic, so when an Iraqi writes “شكو ماكو” or sends a voice note in a hurry, they stumble. Customers notice. They feel it instantly when they’re being answered by something that doesn’t speak their language.

So that’s our work: we teach machines our language. Not a translation of it, not a formal version of it — the Iraqi people actually speak, with its spelling, its manners, and its sense of humour.

The first writing came from this land. We’d like the AI that speaks its dialect to come from here too.

How we think

Four things we don’t compromise on.

Dialect is respect

Answering a customer in their own dialect isn’t a feature. It’s good manners.

Never guess

An assistant that invents a price costs more than one that says “خلي أتأكدلك”. Ours check.

People stay in charge

AI handles the routine. Your staff handle the moments that matter, and can step in any time.

Small and close

We’re a small team in Baghdad. You talk to the people who build your assistant, not a ticket queue.

The team

Iraqi engineers, building in Iraqi.

Neuronyx AI is a small team of Iraqi engineers. We’ve built Arabic AI for others — conversational assistants, Arabic content systems — and now we build it for Iraqi businesses, in Iraqi.

The name

A mind and a material.

Neuronyx joins the neuron — the cell that thinks — with onyx, a stone people have carved since antiquity. We build the brain; our products give it your dialect.
